What is the job about?  
The Payroll Specialist is a key member of the Americas Regional Compensation and Benefits team and will work daily to provide organized and efficient support to the Payroll activities that support our Mexico companies. 
This position reports directly to C&B Manager and will operate daily out of the San Luis Potosí, México facility.  Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in Mexico without support.

Your main responsibilities:  

  • Process weekly payroll for union employees and Process WC payroll (bi-monthly)
  • Hiring process of employers upon reception of the signed and authorized documentation. IDSE Social Security, registration, withdrawals and modifications (affiliation and adjustment contracts).  Payroll and adjunct services administration, payroll invoices with federal tax requirements, payroll layout.
  • Adjustment and changes report of employee's payroll, salaries, position, and layoffs according to the company's data, and the current data in the company's system.
  • Answering employee tickets through servicenow and phone calls,
  • Preparing and documenting monthly payroll audit
  • Preparing and updating payroll and employee central systems   
  • Coordinate, prepare and present information to governmental institution as IMSS, INFONAVT, Hacienda, FONACOT, State Tax secretary and other
  • Develop and deliver monthly report information as: Overtime, Working hours, employees list, etc.
  • Review, process and deliver information for special benefits as: Food Coupons, Saving Plan, Personal Saving plan, Saving found, etc.
  • Yearly audit process with external auditor from group and local government 
     

Your background:  
We imagine that you have:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study
  • Minimum of 5 years of extensive payroll processing experience
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
  • High Payroll and income tax knowledge
  • System Knowledge: SAP Payroll module and Tress advanced
