What is the job about?

As a Supply Chain Leader at Grundfos in San Luis Potosí, you’ll be responsible for leading the local supply chain team and ensuring strong performance across key operational metrics. Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead the Materials and Production Planning teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational efficiency.

  • Drive improvements in delivery performance, focusing on lead time reduction and OTTR (On Time To Request) as a key metric.
  • Monitor day-to-day planning and production tasks, initiating actions to meet specific requirements or resolve issues. Ensure high-quality master data within the area of responsibility.
  • Oversee inventory management at the SAN LP site, with emphasis on reducing slow-moving stock, SMI reserves, and Days of Supply (DOS).
  • Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives, including GPS (Grundfos Production System), 5S, and safety programs.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for supply chain service issues and serve as the local liaison for new implementations and projects.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Industrial Engineer, Bachelor of Business Administration or related field of study.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience within Supply Chain
  • Material & Production Planning experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, functions, charts).
  • Fluent in English. Strong ability to lead and influence others.
  • Results-oriented, with effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices and relevant systems within Supply Chain.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll be an invaluable part of our team, a diverse network of pioneers guiding others in seeing possibilities, not problems. You’ll be instrumental in spreading our optimistic, can-do attitude to advance global innovation and a clear sense of purpose, embodying our six core values, guiding our colleagues in living them day by day, and making a difference in global projects. We support you in navigating your own career and development path, offering you tools to hone your leadership craft, both within your field and to broaden your interest or expertise in areas such as diversity & inclusion, coaching and culture.
