As our new Manufacturing Technician, you will be performing all aspects of the production process — from electrical wiring and plumbing to fabrication and assembly — while serving as a safety leader for your production team. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Water Treatment Manufacturing team, you'll create impact by Building reliable water treatment solutions that protect communities and the environment while driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and production efficiency.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Perform all aspects of production including electrical wiring, metal and PVC plumbing, fabrication, subassembly, assembly, and analysis to quality standards
  • Lead the Production Team in safety trainings, identify workplace hazards, and support management in creating safety procedures and documentation
  • Interpret production reference materials, identify discrepancies, and maintain shop documentation using internal computer systems
  • Manage shop inventory of tools and personal protective equipment, and oversee shop housekeeping
  • Record performance indicators, participate in inventory assessments, and offer ideas to improve shop flow, efficiencies, and morale

What makes you a great fit

 

Above all, you are a self-motivated manufacturing professional with strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to deliver quality work on schedule across diverse production tasks. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Mechanical or manufacturing experience with proficiency in basic hand and power tools
  • Previous forklift experience and valid CA Driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Computer literacy in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and ascend/descend ladders

 

It is a plus if you also:

  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work effectively in both team and individual settings
  • Knowledge of ozone and in-situ process and practices

The salary range for this position is $ 56,000.00 - $59,000.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
