As our new Sales Manager, Water Utility, you will be driving the financial and people performance of a dedicated sales team across Western Australia and South Australia, creating and executing tactical plans that deliver profitable growth through differentiated value propositions in groundwater and irrigation applications. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Water Utility Sales team, you'll create impact by Leading a collaborative team to strengthen Grundfos's market position by developing trusted partnerships with wholesalers, installers, consultants, and end users while championing a sell-through mindset that exceeds customer expectations..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Execute division tactical plans and achieve financial targets including sales growth, margin, and expense management across Western Australia and South Australia
  • Develop and lead a high-performance team through collaborative performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and alignment with Grundfos Leadership principles
  • Promote a sell-through mindset by building relationships with key end users and developing differentiated solutions that meet their expectations
  • Champion Sales Excellence by utilising CRM as a management tool to improve effectiveness and hit rates
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers to drive sales and profitability through National Partnerships while identifying opportunities to increase share of wallet
  • Promote strong relationships with distributors, consultants, and end users, maintaining personal contact with major customers

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a results-driven sales leader with deep technical knowledge of pumps and water applications, combining commercial acumen with a genuine passion for developing people and building trusted customer partnerships. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Proven experience in sales management with demonstrable success developing and executing tactical plans in a technical B2B environment
  • Expertise in pumps and strong knowledge of groundwater and irrigation applications (e.g., groundwater, water transfer, pressure boosting, solar water)
  • Demonstrable experience adopting Sales Excellence principles, fact-based decision-making, and CRM-driven sales management
  • Track record of building, leading, and developing high-performance sales teams

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in sales management, marketing, or business management combined with a trade or engineering foundation
  • SAP CRM experience
  • Experience initiating and facilitating change within a sales organisation
