Sales & Customer Support
Sales Excellence Consultant, CBS
Job Description

Does process optimization motivate you and do you have experience with supporting projects within the sales field? Are you ready to support and advance the overall Grundfos agenda? If yes, then join the Commercial Building Services division in Grundfos!

The Commercial Building Services (CBS) sector is in flux and our organization has a clear strategy to further strengthening our position as a global brand in the industry in the coming years. This requires different competences and capabilities of our sales organization and that we have the tools/technology and processes in place to support this transformation. We need to make sure we treasure what works well while adapting to new and exciting circumstances.

What is the job about?

As our new Sales Excellence Consultant, you will support process improvement projects within our field and inside sales organization in the CBS division. You will document, train, and share best-practices on our global processes and ways of working and secure compliance to defined process and tools standards. Moreover, you will:

  • Support our Sales Excellence Managers on improving efficiencies in internal and external sales – with specific focus on implementing and strengthening global best-practice processes as a vital part of our new CRM system roll-out.
  • Coordinate and deliver process improvement projects in our CBS sales organization in close collaboration with team colleagues and under the guidance of the Senior Manager for Commercial Excellence (COMEX), Pricing and Global KAM.
  • Gather, document and maintain best-practice processes within COMEX and pricing in CBS, track and follow up upon compliance and adherence to the Grundfos global standards.
  • Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information about compliance and process improvement in order to replicate best practices.
  • Arrange and facilitate best-practice sharing and training on global processes in conjunction with the roll-out of our new CRM system, SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C)
  • Support the COMEX, Pricing and Global KAM team with global process knowledge and capability building to reach scalability and harmonization of our core processes.
  • Closely collaborate with our regional inside and field sales organization and COMEX professionals to ensure a solid fit to our global programs and standard tools adoption.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree or master’s degree.
  • Several years of experience from a multinational organization.
  • +2 years of experience from process optimization related projects and possibly from working in an international organization - inside/field sales or business controlling environment.
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills.
  • Good business understanding and great interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge on CRM systems.
  • Good English skills – written and verbal.

The role requires approx. 40-50 travel days per year (under normal circumstances). There is no preferred geographical location for the position since the team is spread across the globe. Ideally you live close to a major airport.

What’s in it for you?

Whether it’s developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path. You’ll be welcomed from day one into an inclusive, trusting environment guided by six core values.

In addition, your day-to-day benefits include:

  • We encourage you to be at the offices, where you can engage, learn, and have fun with colleagues. If you’ll be working from your home office, we’ll make sure you are well equipped with a good workstation
  • On top of it, flexible working hours and up to 3 days’ additional paid leave for volunteering of your choice
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance, parental support, internal well-being consultants and programmes
  • Access to the modern Grundfos Academy to pursue further both personal and professional development
