DBS Sales Director UK & Ireland

 

Do you want to use your leadership experience to drive a strong sales department using individual coaching of team members and practice high performance teams?

Grundfos offers an exciting opportunity to take on the responsibility for driving sales growth and customer loyalty by executing account and pipeline performance management within Grundfos Domestic Building Services (DBS) in the UK and Ireland Region.

 

What is the job about?

The Grundfos DBS mission is: “We will offer homeowners the most attractive choices for sustainable homes and comfortable lives”.

DBS channel to market is distributors and wholesalers and has strong focus on installers and homeowners.  Your responsibility will be to lead the DBS performance in the  Area including P&L. Lead sales planning and execution with focus on:

  • Distributor Key Account Management
  • Local HVAC OEM sales
  • Residential Building Services
  • Develop and deploy Area go-to-market plan aligned with DBS overall priorities

You will further have a close end-to-end collaboration with Internal Sales, Marketing, Demand Planning and Finance as well as ensuring sales planning via monthly cadence and follow up.

 

What do you need to apply?

We imagine that candidates applying for this role hold a master’s degree in the commercial or financial area and/or have experience to tick off most of the points below:

  •  Leadership and Change Management experience
  •  Experience and insights with channel marketing and Key Account Management
  •  Experience with Digital Sales Processes
  •  Experience with negotiation on top management level
  •  Experience with People Management and building high performance teams
  •  Experience with commercial innovation and end-user obsession
  •  Experience from either the building industry or retailing will be considered an advantage

Furthermore, you are flexible and able to adapt to change – a fast learner and you are fluent in written and spoken English. You will also be able to travel to our UK Head Offices in Leighton Buzzard Ideally once a week.

 

Domestic Building Services UK and Ireland

DBS UK and Ireland is part of DBS Western Europe which has over 150 employees. DBS UK and Ireland consists of 2 Sales Managers, 13 dedicated Sales Engineers, 1 RBS Engineer, 1 HVAC OEM sales manager and 1 Key Account Manager situated at Grundfos offices across the region. For this role you will take direct Management of the whole team.
