Are you passionate about shaping the future of embedded software platforms and translating complex business and technology needs into clear, actionable development backlogs? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new SW Product Owner Platform, you will be defining and prioritizing the software backlog for embedded software development teams, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution across Grundfos's complete product portfolio. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

What you will be doing

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Specify, prioritize, and maintain the software backlog so it is visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders, showing what development teams will work on next
  • Create and refine backlog items in close cooperation with business developers, peer product owners, and software architects
  • Serve as a readily available point of contact for development teams to clarify requirements and discuss ambiguities
  • Participate in software development governance and feature model governance within the embedded software domain
  • Coordinate, align, and document task dependencies with other product owners and teams, including proactive stakeholder management across global development sites

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a collaborative communicator who excels at transforming business and technology needs into an executable backlog, with a strong ability to balance short-term delivery goals against long-term platform requirements. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Relevant bachelor's or master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience as a Product Owner, business analyst, or similar role working with software development teams
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, enabling effective collaboration with both software professionals and business stakeholders

It is a plus if you also:

  • Understanding of embedded systems development, including hardware drivers through application layer software
  • Knowledge of pump products or industrial application features
  • Experience working in a global organization across different cultures and development sites

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
