Experienced Scrum Master for Product Development within hardware, software, and system engineering

In Bjerringbro, you will join Product Development within Commercial Building Service (CBS), dedicated to drive the development projects within Grundfos CBS Systems & Solutions like Boosters and Controls. Here, you will play a key role in developing our teams, together with highly skilled engineers and Product Owners.
You will be Scrum Master for a global product complete team, with team members from both Denmark and Asia. The team has the full product responsibility on CBS Controls products.
What is the job about?
Grundfos is on an agile journey and to succeed with this, we need an experienced Scrum Master who has a wish to contribute to this transformation into a multi-team environment going beyond the SW domain.
Your responsibility will be driving cross-functional development teams. You will do so by guiding them to improve ways of working to maximize value. As you will be in a multi-team setup cross team disciplines like dependency management and impediments handling beyond your own teams are very important to excel in. In this context it very important to also see the Scrum Master role as an enabler and driver to make things happen across.
You will serve the Development Team in several ways, including:
- Excel in planning in cooperation with the product owner.
- Working closely with other teams delivering to the same program, where effective dependency management and removal of impediments are key
- Drive tasks that fall between chairs in a multi team setup.
- Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management. Helping the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
- Causing change in the organization that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team
- Communicating with other stakeholders and partners and developing and nurturing an extensive network within the complete organisation
- Coaching them in self-management and ability to effectively work cross functionally.
- Being cognizant about team health and act/guide the team to ensure they continuously improve their way of working
- Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed
What do you need to apply?
Certified Scrum Master or equivalent and proven experience with this or generic, servant leadership is crucial to the job. A good knowledge within integrated product development and the technical disciplines we have like electronics development, Software development, or System engineering is highly beneficial as is project management.
Furthermore, we imagine that you have:
- Min. 5 years of experience with agile going beyond SW as well as stage gate methodologies preferable from a large R&D organisation
- Great change management skills and are ready to take part in driving our ongoing change toward agile project management.
- Experience with scaling agile across an organisation
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills that enable you to work with technical projects and at the same time have a wish to grow own skills together with other Scrum Masters
- Minimum a bachelor’s degree or similar within relevant areas
- Fluently oral and written communication skills in English
