The Shipping Specialist plays a key role in ensuring reliable deliveries, smooth global flows, and an outstanding customer experience.

Job Purpose

The Senior Logistics Specialist ensures efficient coordination, planning, and execution of shipping activities to support suppliers, production, Distribution Centers (DCs), and customers. The role secures smooth delivery processes, customs compliance, and professional administrative support across the logistics flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the performance of the team through task guidance, direction setting and motivation of the workforce. 
• Continuously, check possible improvements on processes and performance to better serve business partners.
• Coordinate physical distribution for inbound materials and outbound customer deliveries.
• Execute daily shipping tasks in line with plans and service level agreements.
• Run open orders in SAP and plan shipments accordingly.
• Align with Finance on credit blocks for orders ready to ship.
• Communicate with Sales, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and requirements.
• Collaborate with warehouses, freight forwarders, agents, and 3PL partners.
• Ensure customs and VAT compliance for import and export processes, including documentation and declarations.
• Manage order fulfillment and take action on delivery deviations.
• Handle logistics-related customer complaints and quality incidents.
• Validate freight forwarder invoices and ensure correct cost allocation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process development within shipping.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field, or minimum 2 years of experience in shipping/transportation.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Proactive and structured, with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Good stakeholder management skills.
• Customer‑centric mindset.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP experience is an advantage.
