As our new Senior Logistics Specialist, you will be driving end-to-end logistics operations from location in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, ensuring efficient movement of products from warehouses to customers while continuously improving processes and service levels. What you will be doing:

 

As a key part of the Supply Chain & Logistics team, you'll create impact by Optimizing logistics performance and delivery excellence to support Grundfos's growth strategy across the Middle East region.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations including shipping, warehousing, and distribution across the Middle East and Egypt
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Monitor and optimize logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight costs, and inventory accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi customs regulations, import/export requirements, and Grundfos quality standards
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and planning teams to align logistics activities with demand forecasts
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency and reduce costs

 

What makes you a great fit:

 

Above all, you are a detail-oriented logistics professional with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of Middle Eastern trade regulations, and a proven track record of driving operational improvements in complex supply chain environments. We would also imagine that you have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably within the Middle East and Egypt
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi customs procedures, import/export regulations, and local trade compliance
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and logistics management tools

 

It is a plus if you also have:

 

  • Experience working in a multinational manufacturing or industrial company
  • APICS, CILT, or similar supply chain certification

Fluency in both Arabic and English
