Key account consultant
Job Description

Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive municipal (MUNI) sales, build and maintain strong relationships with defined customers, and ensure a robust pipeline with an optimal hit rate. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor market development and leverage insights to achieve business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess new business opportunities with potential for Grundfos products and services.
  • Execute tactical sales plans aligned with overall strategy and support budget preparation for sales and marketing activities.
  • Utilize SAP BW data for business analysis and forecasting.
  • Provide expert advice to customers, consultants, dealers, and contractors on product performance, new solutions, modifications, and applications.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence on trends and competitor activities, recommending strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Conduct specialized product and application training for customers, dealers, and internal sales teams.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance team capability.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities in the global CRM system.
  • Ensure customer master data is up to date for all accounts under your responsibility.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related field preferred).
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in Domestic Building Services or similar industry.
  • Proven experience in managing defined processes within a large manufacturing or business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of sales plans, processes, and activities within the functional area.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Familiarity with relevant systems, local laws, and regulations in the region.
