Job Description

What is the job about?

 

This will be a key role for our new upcoming assembly site in the KSA. The role will engage deeply with local authorities for various licenses and certifications and support the initial project to set-up the production facility in an efficient way. Ability to speak and write in Arabic would be needed to succeed in this role.

After production establishment, will become an integral part of the plant driving Plant Quality and EHS functional activities supporting to the Plant Manager and Autonomous Production Unit (APU).  

Highly collaborative role working in close coordination’s with various stakeholders from the divisions and country    

 

    

Your main responsibilities:

 

Project Phase:

  • Main point of contact to liaison between various local authorities and entities to drive the plant establishment and set-up.
  • Enabling Saudi localization and local content drive in collaboration with various functions like Country director, Purchase and Project team.
  • Set-up the Quality and EHS roadmap in collaboration with IMEA Ops EHS and Quality leader.

Post Establishment:

  • Responsible for Ensuring the adherence to Plant Safety procedures/policies and implementing the Safety Culture 
  • Establishing, Implementing & Maintaining the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Management System in accordance with ISO9001/14001/ISO45001 and Grundfos group Standards – GDS
  • Driving and implementing the Grundfos Production System – GPS
  • Perform internal audits (9001/14001/45001) at regular intervals and ensure the compliance to policies/procedure/standards.
  • Perform periodical Gemba walks, identify improvement opportunities areas in Quality & EHS and be a driver for continuous improvement
  • Ensuring the compliance to the Statutory requirements
  • Responsible for all the Process/Product/Customer quality related matters at the plant
  • Systematic recording & analytical problem solving with various quality tools
  • Constantly drive towards “Total Quality culture”

 

 

 

Your Background:

 

  • Engineering / Management Graduate from a reputed institution
  • Fluent in Arabic – both speaking and writing skills
  • Skills to manage projects and liasoning with government authorities and establishments
  • Minimum 7-8 years of work experience in EHS / Quality function with working skills on EHS cultural enhancement and key quality deployment tools
  • Safety Leadership and working knowledge with Risk assessment/Aspect impact analysis
  • Analytical and Problem solving skills using QC tools
  • Able to work in a matrix organization, collaborate and able to work independently with minimum supervison
  • Understanding of Lean principles with demonstrated applications within Shopfloor
  • Demonstrated skills on deploying continuous improvements
