What is the job about?
The Returnable Packaging Coordinator is responsible for managing the sourcing, planning, and flow of returnable packaging items like pallets and containers. This role involves coordinating the distribution of packaging between production, suppliers, and customers, executing daily demands and shipping arrangements, and managing packaging orders centrally. The coordinator maintains reporting, ensures targets are met, and facilitates cooperation between similar roles in APAC and Americas. Additionally, they support packaging purchase order creation and maintenance for the EMEA region, working closely with planning and finance teams.
Your main responsibilities:
- Daily execution of PFB demand and excess flow within the region, incl Order handling, planning and shipping execution
- Collaboration with central HUB and Warehouses, Freight Forwarders and Shipping team
- Communication to internal and external stakeholders (Sales, customers, plants, DCs, 3PLs, suppliers)
- Freight Forwarder invoice controlling
- Creation and maintenance of yearly packaging PO´s for dedicated plants and areas as Gatekeeper
- Support invoice clarification for connected plants.
- Support the stock reporting on monthly/quarterly and yearly basis
- Supervise the regular stock take
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- Relevant logistics background, or relevant commercial experience (min. 2 years in planning/ order execution / shipping/transportation)
- Confident in English is a must, native Hungarian is preferred, any other language is a plus
- Relevant SAP knowledge
- Ability to take actions and solve problems independently
