Job Description

What is the job about?

  • Aligned with the Group Purchasing APAC strategies and APAC/site Operation strategy, implement the overall purchasing activities, targets and supplier portfolio management, to get result delivered.
  • Working as purchasing business partner to align cross functional team within plant, as well as purchasing colleague across Group and APAC purchasing teams to improve overall supplier performance including cost, quality, delivery, etc.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Make sure all purchasing activities within the site will follow Grundfos purchasing policy and follow the compliance.
  • Manage and support the network in relationship building, performance evaluation and supplier development aligned with the overall supplier management strategies and targets
  • Continuously work on optimization of the supplier portfolio and cost across the local assembly companies specifically focused on consolidation across companies
  • Member of the APAC Purchase Management Team

  • Technical education and manufacturing industry is must
  • Proven record in supplier management and negotiations
  • Networker, strong in building relationships and a good collaborator
  • Good communicator at all levels
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
  • Result- and action oriented, decision taker
  • Self confident, People leader
  • Expected up to 90 days per year travelling
  • Good coaching skillset
  • Good English abilities
