As our new Project Manager - Systems, you will drive end-to-end Engineer-to-Order (ETO) system projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule targets are achieved while strengthening organizational capability at our Milan Plant. What you will be doing

As part of the Systems Project Management team, you will coordinate engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing activities to deliver complex booster system solutions for customers across Europe.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage ETO project orders from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Coordinate resources across Grundfos functions and the supply chain to resolve bottlenecks and achieve project milestones.
  • Monitor and improve Quality, Cost & Delivery (QCD) performance to increase customer satisfaction and support profitable growth.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Build Milan Plant capability and readiness to deliver ETO Systems across Europe.
  • Establish and continuously improve project management processes and best practices.

What makes you a great fit

You are a results-oriented project leader with experience in Engineer-to-Order or complex manufacturing environments, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of supply chain and engineering processes.

We imagine you have:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in ETO, manufacturing, or engineered systems environments, with proven achievement of Quality, Cost & Delivery targets.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain coordination and manufacturing processes, including management of complex multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Office, and CAD software.

It is a plus if you have:

  • Experience in pump systems, water technology, or industrial equipment industries.
  • Fluency in Italian and English; additional European languages are an advantage.

What we offer

In accordance with Italian pay transparency regulations, we provide the following information:

National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): Metalmeccanica Industria.

The indicative gross annual salary for this role ranges from €42,000 to €52,000, depending on experience, skills, profile, and market benchmarks. We also offer a competitive total rewards package that may include bonus schemes, incentives, and company benefits aligned with the role's responsibilities and objectives.
