Are you passionate about leading complex engineered equipment programs from concept to launch, ensuring every skid package delivers safety, quality, and performance? Then join our mission to pioneer smarter water solutions that reduce energy use and improve lives.
As our new Program Manager - Commercial Fire Packages, you'll be driving the full lifecycle execution of engineered skid-mounted fire protection equipment programs — from scoping and planning through cross-functional coordination and delivery — that ensure our Commercial Fire solutions meet the highest standards of compliance and customer satisfaction. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Commercial Fire Business Unit team, you'll create impact by leading cross-functional program execution that delivers compliant, high-quality fire protection skid packages to market faster while driving continuous improvement across design, supply chain, and manufacturing.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end program execution for Commercial Fire Skid Packages (Inline, Horizontal, and Vertical), establishing objectives for cost, quality, delivery, and performance while maintaining structured governance and risk escalation
- Define and manage technical scope across pumps, controls, piping, electrical systems, and certification requirements, reviewing engineering deliverables and controlling scope changes to ensure manufacturability
- Drive collaboration across engineering, operations, sourcing, production, quality, sales, and service — leading program meetings, ensuring timely decisions, and maintaining milestone alignment
- Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Ensure all skid packages comply with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements (UL, FM, NFPA), overseeing BOM accuracy, engineering drawings, testing protocols, and certification documentation
- Partner with Sales and Business Development to support proposals, customer reviews, and technical assessments, serving as a technical liaison for customer program execution
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you're a technically strong program leader with deep experience in engineered-to-order equipment, a talent for driving cross-functional alignment in matrix organizations, and the organizational discipline to manage multiple concurrent programs with precision.
We'd also imagine that you are/have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in engineered-to-order equipment, industrial systems, or complex product development/program management
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control system integration
- Proficiency in developing and managing program schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications
It's a plus if you also:
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- PMP or equivalent program/project management certification
- Experience with pump systems, industrial controls, fire protection equipment, or mechanical skid packages
Why you'll love working here
Day to day, you can look forward to:
- Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
- Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
- On-demand training and structured development programs to support your growth.
