As our new Production Planner, you will be developing and executing feasible production plans that translate customer orders and forecasts into actionable schedules, ensuring smooth operations across the end-to-end supply chain. What you will be doing
As a key part of the GSI2 Operations Supply Chain team, you'll create impact by Driving on-time delivery performance and operational efficiency by proactively aligning demand, capacity, and inventory across production and customer-facing teams..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Develop, maintain, and execute daily and weekly production plans that align customer orders with material availability, production capacity, and workforce resources
- Confirm feasible delivery dates by evaluating capacity, inventory status, and material availability, adjusting schedules proactively in response to order changes, quality issues, or material shortages
- Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain optimal stock while avoiding excess and obsolescence, driving timely corrective actions on missing parts with procurement and suppliers
- Act as the key link between production, customer service, and sales to ensure efficient order fulfilment and respond to CIC enquiries within 2-3 days
- Collaborate with Supply Chain COE and global teams on process improvements, digitalisation, and system enhancements, including application of AI automation tools
- Conduct short-term and long-term demand analysis to support capacity planning and ensure accurate data in planning systems
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented planner with strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to prioritise tasks independently while coordinating effectively across production, procurement, and customer service teams. We would also imagine that you have:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
- 2-3 years' experience in Production Planning or an equivalent supply chain role (fresh graduates with strong interest in Supply Chain will be considered)
- Strong analytical and data accuracy skills with proficiency in planning systems such as SAP
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience applying VBA to automate repetitive tasks in SAP HANA
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies or AI automation tools
- Familiarity with OTTR, PO@TLT, and Days of Stock
