Production Operator Team Leader - Electrical

What is the Job all about?
Are you interested in taking on the role of Production Operator Team Leader – Electrical?
In this position, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s strategic goals by leading a team of Electrical Trades, Trade Assistants and assemblers focused on meeting scheduled deadlines and First Time Through (FTT) targets. You’ll be responsible for fostering a safe and productive work environment across our Adelaide plant, while building strong working relationships with key stakeholders and peers to ensure the overall performance of the Production team is achieved.
This role reports directly to the Grundfos Warehouse Manager and will be based at our Regency Park office in South Australia.
Your main responsibilities:
- Execute actions to meet production performance targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery and continuous improvement
- Build and develop a multi-skilled, flexible workforce to maximize resource utilization; regularly review team performance and support development
- Foster a culture of zero harm and promote a safety-first environment by positively influencing and engaging the team
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and zero defects through active employee engagement
- Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all relevant tasks
- Perform other duties as required, aligned with the scope of the position
Your background:
- Trade Qualification with a Grade A Electrical Licence
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing and line assembly
- Strong people management skills, with proven leadership and technical expertise in electrical systems would be an advantage.
