The Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the output of the Development Team by managing the Technical Product Backlog aligned with customer requirements and ensuring product development deliveries. Leading backlog refinement, forecasting, risk management, and agile transformation effort.

As Product Owner, you will help maximize the value of our core system business by translating customer and business needs into impactful, end‑to‑end system solutions.
You will work in a truly diverse and global functional setup, collaborating across product management, product development, digital, quality, supply chain, operation and external partners. Your main responsibilities:
- 50% Product Backlog & Development Leadership
- Translate Product Backlog items into clear, actionable requirements from an end-to-end value chain perspective.
- Ensure the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and well-prioritized for the Scrum Team, maximizing the value of the Development Team’s work.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to prioritize urgent tasks, including quality “Red Alerts,” compliance escalations, last-time buys, and critical development issues.
- 30% Key Engineering Execution & Stakeholder Leadership
- Act as the driver for key and complex engineering initiatives, leading planning, breakdown, and detailed execution in close collaboration with the Scrum Team and relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively manage technical dependencies, risks, and execution alignment across teams and functions, ensuring timely decision-making and smooth progress on heavy engineering tasks.
- Lead stakeholder engagement for these initiatives, ensuring clear scope, expectations, and alignment across Product Management, Product Dev. teams, and external partners.
- 10% Cross-Functional & Partner Alignment
- Coordinate with internal scrum teams — CBS Panel, CBS Controls, CBS MARS …to secure the align deliverables, specifications, and content.
- Coordinate with external scrum teams across divisions—IND Multi-Stage Pumps, IND Motor, IND Sensor, Software, Architecture, Digital, etc. —to secure the align deliverables, specifications, and content.
- Facilitate clear communication and collaboration across regions and functions to ensure consistent product execution and support.
- 10% Financial & Resource Management
- Lead forecasting, manage the product maintenance budget, ensuring strong financial discipline and performance.
- Plan resources and spending to align with strategic maintenance goals and lifecycle requirements.
- Mandate – what this role can make decisions on:
- Prioritizing urgent tasks within a Product group
- Sign-off on technical deliverables from scrum teams
- Allocate activity budget within framework given
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized technical institution.
- Ability to communicate Business Development and Product Management decisions and background.
- Certified SCRUM product owner
- Product and customer understanding (Experience in Piping/booster or HVAC application is a strong advantage)
- Proven experience working in cross functional teams
- Proven experience from working in an international company
- Proven Agile experience and change management
- Fluent English verbal and written
- Willingness to travel
