Product Line Planner

As our new Product Line Planner, you will be driving the end-to-end planning of pump and systems assembly across our Australian and New Zealand operations, managing everything from high-volume production to custom-engineered solutions and integrated projects. 

 

This role will be directly reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and will be based in Regency Park, South Australia.

 

What you will be doing
As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by Ensuring exceptional delivery performance by bridging supply chain and production teams to meet customer commitments across diverse and complex product lines.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Schedule production orders using MRP and just-in-time principles, ensuring material availability and on-time delivery across multiple assembly areas
  • Input and maintain customer orders in SAP with accuracy across part numbers, pricing, technical specifications and contractual requirements
  • Monitor missing parts, investigate supply alternatives and expedite components to minimise delays and improve lead times
  • Release production orders with required assembly information and raise purchase orders for local contractor services
  • Provide status reporting to stakeholders on project sales orders and proactively resolve SAP discrepancies from planning processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality and delivery performance within the planning function

 

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a proactive and detail-oriented planning professional with strong SAP skills, manufacturing environment experience, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining excellent stakeholder communication. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Qualification in Supply Chain, Production, Operations or Project Management, or equivalent trade qualification
  • Experience in production demand planning and scheduling within a manufacturing or engineered-product environment
  • Proficiency in SAP, particularly within production and supply chain modules, along with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong time management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing processes
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Experience coordinating planning for custom-designed or project-based products
