Pricing Manager, Water Utility

Grundfos is seeking an experienced Pricing Manager, Water Utility to join its Commercial and Marketing Excellence team. The Pricing Manager, Water Utility will be responsible for working closely with the Global Pricing Function and the Water Utility Performance Unit in a global context to take part in setting the direction for how Grundfos does pricing towards our customers. Utilizing global standards, this position will be involved in planning, implementing, and the ongoing management of the WU price optimization programs for all products. The Pricing Manager, WU will collaborate with all levels of the organization and Local and regional sales management teams. This position reports directly to the Head of Global Commercial Excellence and Pricing for Grundfos Water Utility this employee will operate daily out of the Apodaca, Nuevo Leon facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported.
What is the job about?
• Gathering and interpreting relevant data as well as identifying and presenting key areas with opportunities for optimization
• Sets up discount matrixes for standard distribution sales
• Structures net price agreements, governance structures for handling special pricing and project sales
• Sets up of customer value added services (fees) and handling of pricing master data.
• Maintains and carries out regular updates of the price development for specific product groups and on key Fair Pricing initiatives
• Identifies, initiates and completes pricing initiatives in the Grundfos WU Performance Unit and make ad hoc price analyses including communication on al levels in the organization.
• Ensures proper alignment between pricing related activities conducted in various functions of Grundfos (Finance, Program Management, BD, etc.).
• Monitors, analyzes, and reports on matters of pricing and revenue / margin performance.
• Develops and produces various elements of data analysis, pricing reports, and conducts market and competitor research to aide pricing efforts, drive strategic discussions, and supplement performance reviews.
• Implements Global initiatives across Grundfos including local adaptations with respect to cultural and market specific circumstances.
• Conducts ad-hoc analysis/reporting to support pricing related business processes
• Prepares monthly and quarterly reporting
• Interacts with stakeholders across functions to ensure alignment (Group, Region, Sales company)
• Pricing Master Data development, maintenance, and governance

What do you need to apply?
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Degree in Commerce, Finance, Marketing or Economics required. Additionally, 3-5+ years of related experience in B2B pricing within a global MNC. Skilled in List Price Management systems within SAP. Must have experience within B2B pricing (setting prices and defining pricing strategies is important for our business;
• Skilled in Profit Anayzer tool, Vendavo
• Experience in working as part of a virtual team, across borders
• Proven record of project management and working to deadlines
• Expert in MS Office – particularly Excel.

• Ability to interact with persons on different organisational leve
• Good presenter of technically complex material
• Expert in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)

• Must be able to travel up to 10% if necessary. Thus candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
