As our new Service Technician, you will be repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining pumps and pump systems across both workshop and field environments, while building strong customer relationships and driving service excellence. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Commercial Service team, you'll create impact by Delivering reliable, high-quality pump service solutions that keep critical water infrastructure running for our customers across Greece..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble pumps, pump systems, and accessories in workshop and field service settings, including electrical connections to networks and BMS systems
- Handle warranty claims fairly and promptly, completing all administrative tasks to ensure full traceability of jobs and hours
- Capture failure data accurately in SAP and FAS systems, monitoring and resolving issues with quick turnaround
- Maintain proactive customer communication on open and pending service jobs, promoting service revenue growth opportunities
- Develop a continuous improvement approach to service repair processes and implement corrective actions
- Provide back-up support for incoming service and technical enquiry calls
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically skilled, hands-on problem solver with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, strong communication skills in Greek and English, and a genuine willingness to learn and specialize in pump technology. We would also imagine that you have:
- Educational background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with practical, hands-on experience (not only theoretical)
- Minimum 0-2 years of relevant work experience in a technical service or maintenance environment
- Strong technical competence across both mechanical and electrical elements
- Fluency in Greek and English
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience with pump systems, accessories, and related rotating equipment
- Familiarity with SAP, FAS, or similar service management systems
- Workshop and field service experience including warranty claims handling
