Service Technician

What is the job about? 

Grundfos Hellas is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join its Service & Solutions team.  In this role, you’ll be responsible for the repair and maintenance work providing technical expertise and deep understanding of customer needs across various service areas to ensure prompt and efficient service delivery in alignment with the company's objectives. This position reports to the Head of Service & Solutions Greece.

Your main responsibilities  

• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair and replacement parts and re-assemble pumps, pumps systems and accessories in workshop and/or field service
• Ensure warranty claims are dealt with in a fair and timely manner
• Ensure timely and accurate input and analysis of data through SAP and FAS – failure analysis system, so that issues are monitored and resolved as quickly and effectively as possible
• Develop a continuous improvement approach to service repair and implement corrective actions
• Maintain a high level of professionalism in the execution of the role and in all customer communications

Your background 

• Qualified candidates will possess a Technical education knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering
• 4-6 years of work experience in the industry or comparable environment
• Experience with pump technology
• SAP experience preferred
• Ability to participate in work with processes or projects within the service environment
• Knowledge of best practices and relevant practices, systems in the service environment
• Will be required to travel up to 50% of the time and work in the Field with short notice
