System Engineer, Unified Communication (UC)

As our new System Engineer, Unified Communication (UC), you will be providing second-level technical support for unified communications and contact center platforms, ensuring high availability through proactive monitoring, structured troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of operational processes. 

What you will be doing

As a key part of the IS Infrastructure Services & Operations team, you'll create impact by Ensuring stable, secure, and reliable communication systems that connect Grundfos employees and customers across the globe..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Provide second-level technical support for contact center and unified communications solutions, troubleshooting and resolving incidents in complex environments
  • Monitor UC and contact center systems proactively to identify and prevent issues, ensuring high service availability
  • Perform maintenance tasks including configuration adjustments, hardware testing, and platform updates
  • Document support cases, solutions, and troubleshooting steps to build and maintain the team knowledge base
  • Escalate complex issues to specialized technical teams and collaborate across IS support groups for cohesive system support
  • Contribute to automation initiatives, security practices, and cross-team knowledge sharing to drive consistent service delivery

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a structured and independent technical problem solver with solid enterprise IT operations experience, a strong understanding of unified communications technologies, and a collaborative mindset for cross-team support. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 3–4 years of enterprise IT system engineering or operations experience with hands-on incident resolution and problem management
  • Knowledge of unified communications and cloud contact center technologies, IT architecture principles, and platform standards
  • Understanding of IT service management processes (ITIL) and compliance awareness
  • Proven ability to perform structured, independent technical troubleshooting in complex environments

 

It is a plus if you also:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on exposure to UC/contact center platforms such as Genesys, Five9, NICE, or Avaya
