Senior Category Manager (IT & Digital)

Are you interested to work as a Senior Category Manager for our IT & Digital team? In this role, You will consistently deliver high Customer satisfaction on behalf of Group Purchasing as business partner for the group functions and business stakeholders.
What is the Job all about?
As a Senior Category Manager, you will conduct Value-Based sourcing within IT & Digital Category (approx. 100 m€ Spend). You will also ensure continuous optimization of the Operational Excellence, Innovation and Sustainability delivered from Suppliers. Lastly, ensure TCO optimization in the industry.
This role will be directly reporting to the Head of Purchasing CoE IT & Digital and will be based in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
Your main responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing Process related activities:
• Develop sourcing strategy within assigned Sub-categories, suppliers and Region, to support Business strategy and roadmap
• Manage the development, implementation, and alignment between Global and Regional sourcing strategies
• Provide leadership in supply market intelligence research and analysis activities for visibility in key cost drivers and market trends, industry best practices.
• Responsible for value & savings delivery for the category
• Optimize suppliers portfolio
• Lead negotiations and tendering process
• Ensure favorable and compliant contracts closure implementation and management
• Act as a Business Partner for the Group and Regional functions: understand the business strategies, needs and requirements while challenge requirements, policies, existing solutions and concepts
• Manage contracts with external suppliers in compliance with Group policies, standards and requirements on sustainability, ethics and Grundfos values.
• Ensure foundation for Supplier Relationship Management, data transparency and reporting abilities for indirect suppliers, including but not limited to:
o Facilitation of business reviews
o Definition and maintenance of preferred suppliers’ lists
o Suppliers’ performance assessment and development
What do you need to apply:
• Relevant commercial/technical education
• Minimum 5 years professional experience within sourcing in a global organization for IT & Telecom
• Experienced in communicating at senior executive level as well as other levels internally as well as externally (typical counterpart in relationships and strategic negotiations will be managing directors or senior executives)
• Analytical and strategic thinking
• Result- and action oriented
• Self driven and pro-active mindset
• Expected travel is maximum 10%
