The Opportunity

 

This is a rare opportunity to own and drive the digital marketing agenda for Grundfos across six markets — Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand. You will be the architect of our B2C ecommerce and digital growth strategy for residential pumps in the APAC region, working at the intersection of data, technology, creativity, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You Will Do

 

Digital Strategy & Market Adaptation

•       Develop and localize multi-country digital marketing strategies tailored to each market’s consumer behavior, competitive landscape, and business objectives.

•       Identify growth opportunities across APAC and translate them into prioritized, actionable roadmaps.

Ecommerce & Marketplace Activation

•       Lead end-to-end digital retail activations on platforms including Lazada, Shopee, and Shopify.

•       Partner with regional sales and channel teams to drive product visibility, increase conversion rates, and optimize the shopper journey.

Performance Marketing & Analytics

•       Own campaign performance reporting — from paid media (Meta, Google Ads) to organic and marketplace channels.

•       Translate data into clear, compelling insights and investment recommendations for senior leadership.

 

AI & Marketing Technology

•       Lead the adoption of AI tools and martech platforms to personalize customer experiences, automate workflows, and improve campaign efficiency.

•       Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement across digital channels.

Content Strategy & Localization

•       Oversee content creation and localization efforts that speak authentically to each market — maintaining a consistent and compelling brand voice across all touchpoints.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Influence

•       Share expertise and best practices with the Social Media Specialist and cross-functional teams — acting as the go-to regional authority on digital marketing.

•       Build strong working relationships with regional sales leads, commercial teams, and external agency partners to ensure digital efforts are tightly aligned to business outcomes.

•       Support the Head of Marketing on strategic digital transformation initiatives and market research projects.

What You Bring

 

We are looking for a proven digital marketing leader with the strategic thinking of a consultant and the executional drive of a builder. You should have:

·        Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A master's degree is a significant advantage.

·        Experience: At least 7 years of progressive, hands-on experience in digital marketing, with a strong preference for candidates from premium brands or top-tier agencies, particularly within the APAC region.

·        E-commerce Expertise: Demonstrated success in activating and optimizing e-commerce and online marketplace strategies across multiple countries.

·        Paid Media Proficiency: Deep understanding and proven experience with paid media strategies, including Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), Google Ads, and other relevant channels.

·        AI & MarTech Savvy: Comfortable and experienced in leveraging AI tools for marketing (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, automation platforms) to drive innovation and efficiency.

·        Language Skills: Fluent in English. Proficiency in Bahasa, Thai, or Mandarin is a valuable asset.

·        Strategic Mindset: A strategic thinker with a creative edge, capable of making brands shine online and influencing market trends.

·        Agency Experience: Prior experience working with marketing or advertising agencies is highly desirable.
