Purchasing Coordinator

As our new Purchasing Coordinator, you will be providing essential administrative and data management support to Indirect Category Management, helping drive efficient sourcing and supplier relationship activities. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Indirect Purchasing team, you'll create impact by Optimising purchasing data quality and processes that enable smarter category management decisions across Grundfos..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Create and maintain all purchasing-related master data in ERP systems in accordance with best practices
  • Conduct data analyses using ERP-related systems and data sources (VPC, ECM, Extranet, EDI, CLM) to support category decisions
  • Support Indirect Category Management with data analysis, classification, and preparation for negotiations
  • Coordinate and organise meetings, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and prepared
  • Track and follow up on KPIs to monitor purchasing performance
  • Carry out administrative tasks across ERP-related systems to ensure data integrity and process compliance

 

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented coordinator with strong data management skills and a solid understanding of purchasing processes, ready to support a dynamic category management team. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Vocational certificate, Associate's Degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of administration and business support best practices, preferably within a purchasing environment
  • Proficiency working with ERP systems and performing data analysis
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow defined business processes

It is a plus if you also:

  • Up to 2 years of experience in a similar purchasing support or coordination role
  • Experience supporting key business initiatives such as sourcing projects or supplier negotiations
  • Familiarity with systems such as VPC, ECM, EDI, or contract lifecycle management tools
