Purchasing Coordinator

As our new Purchasing Coordinator, you will be managing daily indirect procurement activities, converting purchase requests into purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery across all ordering processes while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Indirect Procurement team, you'll create impact by Ensuring seamless end-to-end purchasing operations that keep Grundfos teams equipped with the materials and services they need to deliver on our mission.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Convert purchase requests to purchase orders via Ariba, handle order confirmations, and ensure timely processing against standard KPIs
  • Follow up end-to-end orders using ZDMOPD/ME2N, tracking delivery times, partial deliveries, and missing materials
  • Manage vendor relationships including invoice management, master data maintenance, and supplier communication
  • Create and maintain framework orders, communicating them to end users and suppliers across your area
  • Provide daily support to end users and requesters on indirect ordering processes and purchasing-related questions
  • Proactively identify and propose process improvement ideas to enhance procurement efficiency

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a systematic and quality-oriented procurement professional with strong organizational skills, an analytical mindset, and the flexibility to thrive under pressure while collaborating effectively across teams. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or similar coordination role
  • University or college degree in management, accounting, or a related field
  • Experience with indirect and/or direct sourcing and operational procurement activities
  • Proficiency in procurement systems such as SAP and/or Ariba

It is a plus if you are also:

  • Understanding of end-to-end order flow and related procurement processes
  • Experience with vendor invoice management and framework order administration
  • Familiarity with Delegation of Authority (DOA) rules and procurement compliance principles
