What is the Job all about?
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to ensure a robust control environment at both the legal entity and performance unit/profit center levels across the Region. In this role, you will work closely with Lead Financial Controllers (Finance Managers) to drive compliance and operational excellence. You will also play a key role in supporting the Regional Finance Controlling team on all internal and external compliance matters, helping to uphold the highest standards of financial integrity.
Your main responsibilities:
- Drive the statutory reporting process, including the preparation, review and submission of Statutory Financial Statement, Corporate Income Tax return and other related country specific regular or ad-hoc reports
- Coordinate the interim/year-end local audit and any external financial and tax audits, provide material and information as requested by auditors in collaboration with relevant departments
- Be main contact with local auditors and local outsourcing partner
- Serve as the Company Secretary (or support the individual in this role) ensuring compliance with local legal requirements related to Board Meetings, Annual General Meetings, and other corporate governance matters.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or law
- At least 10 years of finance relevant experience, with no less than 3 years on manager level, must be with MNC
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language is required.
- Proficient MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Solid knowledge of SAP Application.
- Familiar with IFRS & IAS Accounting Standard, Tax laws, regulations.
- Has been involved in complex year-end-processes and interacts comfortably with stakeholders, has a background as auditor or finance manager in a global organization.
- Ability/experience in handling sensitive/complex matters in a confidential/professional manner/Business & product knowledge.
- Strong data analysis technical skills
- Self-driven and strong business sense
- Adaptability to different cultures and experience in multiple locations in APAC and overseas.
