As our new Lead Accountant, PTP, you will be overseeing end-to-end procure-to-pay accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across our financial operations. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Procure-to-Pay Finance team, you'll create impact by Driving financial accuracy and process optimization that strengthens Grundfos's ability to deliver on its mission of pioneering solutions to the world's water and climate challenges.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead and coordinate procure-to-pay accounting activities including invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, and payment execution
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
  • Drive process improvements and standardization across PTP workflows to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and local statutory requirements
  • Collaborate with procurement, treasury, and business stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and optimize cash flow
  • Mentor and guide junior accountants, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development

 

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented finance professional with strong procure-to-pay expertise, a continuous improvement mindset, and the leadership skills to elevate team performance. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or procure-to-pay accounting, including at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and proficiency in Excel
  • Solid understanding of internal controls, GAAP or IFRS, and statutory compliance requirements

 

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Experience working in a shared services or global business services environment
  • Familiarity with process automation tools such as RPA or workflow management platforms
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent
