As our new Network Specialist, you will be managing and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure across Grundfos's global operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of LAN, WAN, and cloud networking environments. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Global IT Infrastructure team, you'll create impact by Delivering reliable, secure, and scalable network solutions that empower thousands of colleagues worldwide to drive sustainable water technology innovation..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN solutions across global sites
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability of critical infrastructure
  • Manage firewalls, VPNs, and network security policies to protect against threats and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on cloud connectivity, infrastructure projects, and technology upgrades
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures
  • Provide escalation support and mentor junior team members on networking best practices

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a hands-on networking professional with deep expertise in enterprise network technologies, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a collaborative mindset for working in a global IT environment. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or administration (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN)
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco or similar networking platforms (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP) and network security principles
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and incident troubleshooting in complex environments
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Juniper
  • It is a plus if you also have relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
