Finance Team Lead, Cash OtC

What is the Job all about?

 

The Scrum Master for Cash Order-to-Cash is part of the Cash leadership team, reporting to the Finance Manager. This role is accountable for ensuring timely and high-quality cash allocation across the assigned portfolio for the team.

 

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

Operational leadership

  • Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational team and processes, driving continuous optimization in coordination with the Finance Manager.
  • Provide functional guidance, training, and support to team members to maintain motivation and achieve individual and collective performance goals aligned with internal and external customer needs.
  • Allocate and prioritize tasks among team members to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards.
  • Conduct team meetings and facilitate communication within and across all teams in the Finance OtC department.
  • Remove impediments that hinder the operational team’s progress.
  • Coach and support the team to deliver high-value services.
  • Deliver defined KPI reports on time for all operational activities.
  • Perform other related tasks as requested by the Finance Manager.

 

Stakeholder management

  • Maintain regular contact with stakeholders and key contacts, ensuring effective two-way communication. Proactively engage with stakeholders to raise awareness of issues encountered and actions taken to resolve them.
  • Proactively interacts with stakeholders to raise awareness of issues encountered along with any actions taken to support resolution

 

Continuous improvement

  • Identify and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance service quality.
  • Implement process improvements and standardizations as required.
  • Actively participate in related ad hoc projects.

 

People development

  • Identify skill gaps within the team and provide input to the line manager for individual development plans.
  • Contribute to individual performance reviews for team members (PDD).

 

Your background:

 

  • Master’s/bachelor’s degree in economics or finance
  • At least 5 years experience in a senior finance role, specializing in Order-to-Cash processes within a Shared Service environment.
  • Minimum 3 years people leadership experience
  • Advanced level of English, both verbally and written
  • High level understanding and overview of the end-to-end Order to Cash processes
  • Advanced MS Excel user
  • Advanced SAP AR and FSCM user
  • Ideal candidate has experience in Autobank (advanced level)
