Legal & Compliance
Digital Compliance & Transformation Officer & DPO
Job Description

Are you passionate about legal compliance, data privacy, and digital transformation? Join Grundfos and help drive smarter, scalable legal and privacy operations that support our mission to move and transform water more sustainably worldwide.

As Digital Compliance & Transformation Officer & Data Protection Officer (Philippines), you will help shape the digital legal architecture, drive process standardization and automation, and support privacy operations across Grundfos’ global footprint, including in the Philippines. You’ll work in a diverse, inclusive culture that puts people first and supports growth and well-being.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Legal Data, IP & Marketing team, you'll create impact by building scalable, audit-ready legal and privacy operations that reduce manual effort, strengthen compliance, and enable Grundfos to move faster with confidence.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain scalable, audit-ready digital legal and privacy processes
  • Help drive automation across legal and privacy workflows to improve efficiency
  • Act as Data Protection Officer for the Philippines, managing data subject requests, incidents, and documentation
  • Coordinate the above work with IT, HR, Procurement, business units, external advisors and the rest of the legal team

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a pragmatic, detail-oriented professional with a strong process optimization mindset, the ability to translate business and technical requirements into structured operational solutions, and a high level of integrity when handling sensitive data. We would also imagine that you have:

  • A Master’s degree in business administration, information systems, data and technology or similar and 5–6 years’ relevant experience
  • Some expertise in data privacy and hands-on compliance management, ideally as DPO
  • Proven experience driving optimization, or automation, ideally within the legal and privacy areas
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across functions and geographies
  • Strong written and spoken English

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience working in a large manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Familiarity with legal-technology tools and digital transformation methodologies
  • Knowledge of operational data protection principles and data privacy concepts (e.g., GDPR and Philippine Data Privacy Act)

Why you will love working here

We care! Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance, retirement benefit and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering in your community.
  • Access to on-demand training and learning sessions and carefully structured programmes to pursue personal and professional development opportunities.

We are inclusive! Celebrating and valuing our differences helps us see possibilities where others can't. We therefore welcome and encourage applications from all abilities, experiences, and backgrounds.
