IS Senior Data Engineer

Hybrid- Ortigas, Pasig

 

What is the Job all about?

 

Producing the right Data Products and Data Pipelines while, contributing to the design and development of the ‘Grundfos Data Platform’ at the same time. You do this by applying your knowledge of the defined tool stack, thereby securing scalable architectures for the data platform development and operations.

 

This role will be directly reporting to the Manager of IS Data Management Operations and to be based in Ortigas, Pasig City.

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Design and build data products and data pipelines needed to develop prioritized applications as specified.

 

  • Ensure that pipelines adhere to the requirements, design principles and governance embodied in the ‘Grundfos Data Platform
    • Implement solution- and pipeline monitoring via Datadog
    • Document data products and pipelines properly in Collibra (data catalog and meta data management) and Data Vault modelled if critical or otherwise decided
    • Apply agreed CI/CD functionality- (Continuous integration and continuous deployment)

 

 

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in in Computer Science or related experience and discipline
  • Must have knowledge of data storage (e.g. NoSQL, SQL, Graph DB and like)
  • Must have basic knowledge of Python
  • Experience from data engineering in a complex setup (organization & system) is a nice to have
  • Experience with working in an environment with multiple stakeholders is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or cloud platforms like Azure is a must
  • Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Development and CI/CD pipelines is a must
  • Experience with of C# is an advantage
  • Basic network configuration experience is an advantage
  • Knowledge of data modelling and documentation is an advantage
