As our new Accountant, Record to Report, you will be managing end-to-end intercompany accounting, fixed asset management, and IFRS16 lease accounting processes across Grundfos entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Finance Shared Services – Record to Report team, you'll create impact by Strengthening financial integrity across Grundfos by ensuring seamless intercompany transactions, reliable asset records, and compliant lease accounting that support sound business decisions.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Manage intercompany transactions end-to-end—posting on both sides, monitoring and providing status on pending requests, performing cost recharges, and driving company-wide intercompany reconciliation as a corporate hub
  • Execute month-end and year-end close activities in SAP for intercompany accounts, GR/IR reconciliation, and assigned processes
  • Create and maintain fixed asset master data, process acquisitions, transfers, disposals, retirements, and perform monthly depreciation runs with ledger reconciliation
  • Prepares fixed asset reports, including balance reviews and depreciation schedules
  • Record and maintain lease contracts under IFRS 16, including the calculation and posting of ROU assets, lease liabilities, depreciation, and interest
  • Manage lease modifications, extensions, and disposals
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 presentation and disclosure requirements
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, and explanations
  • Understands the accounting activities assigned to FSS and performed on behalf of the entity
  • Identifies, resolves, and monitors issues, escalating them to the Senior Accountant when necessary
  • Supports the One Finance team by collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining clear communication, and proactively raising or addressing issues to ensure a no‑surprise environment
  • Identify and support automation and process improvement opportunities and collaborate with Finance Excellence and IS teams on system enhancements.

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented finance professional with strong SAP experience, solid knowledge of intercompany accounting and fixed asset management, and a proactive mindset for process improvement and stakeholder collaboration. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in general accounting with focus on intercompany accounting, fixed assets, IFRS, or record-to-report processes
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/AA modules) including posting, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Working knowledge of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS16 lease accounting

It is a plus if you are also:

  • Experience working in a shared services or global finance environment
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar workflow tools for finance request management
  • Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives within finance operations
