As our new AP Accountant, you will be managing end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay activities, processing PO and non-PO invoices, and ensuring timely reconciliations and closing activities for selected local companies. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Purchase to Pay team, you'll create impact by Ensuring seamless financial operations that keep Grundfos running efficiently and our vendors paid accurately and on time.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Process all PO and non-PO invoices — recording, checking, and posting with or without purchase order references
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities including accrual preparation and account balance reconciliations
- Resolve requests and queries arriving through ServiceNow in a timely and customer-friendly manner
- Monitor the critical vendor list monthly, ensuring invoices are booked and payments are made on time
- Support internal control, audit activities, and provide data for KPI reporting and analysis
- Participate in migration activities and support go-live preparation for new entities
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a detail-oriented finance professional with strong accounting fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced shared services environment. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Prior experience in a Shared Services or Global Business Services environment
- Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
