As our new Sales Engineer – Municipal Water Utility, you will be driving sales growth across municipal water utility accounts in the Philippines, building trusted relationships with local government units, water districts, and consulting engineers to deliver Grundfos solutions that address critical water infrastructure needs. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Water Utility Sales team, you'll create impact by Partnering with municipal water utilities to design and deliver sustainable pumping solutions that improve water access and efficiency for communities across the Philippines.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of municipal water utility accounts, including water districts and local government units across the Philippines
  • Conduct technical assessments and propose optimized Grundfos pumping and water treatment solutions for municipal applications
  • Collaborate with consulting engineers and project specifiers to ensure Grundfos products are specified in water infrastructure projects
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and commercial quotations aligned with customer requirements
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming municipal water projects to build a strong sales pipeline
  • Coordinate with internal teams including application engineering, project management, and after-sales to ensure seamless project delivery

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a technically skilled sales professional with a strong understanding of water utility infrastructure, the ability to build relationships across government and engineering stakeholders, and a genuine drive to improve water services in the Philippines. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of sales or application engineering experience in pumps, water infrastructure, or related industrial equipment
  • Strong technical knowledge of pumping systems, water supply, or water treatment applications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Filipino

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience working with Philippine water districts, LWUA, or local government procurement processes
  • Familiarity with Grundfos or similar pump manufacturer product lines
  • Licensed Mechanical or Civil Engineer (PRC) is a plus
