Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos, is seeking an experienced Package Electrician to join its Package Engineered Systems team in our NEW facility in Waller Texas!

As our new Package Electrician, you will be wiring, fabricating, installing, and testing electrical systems on packaged pump solutions according to engineering drawings and specifications. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Package Manufacturing team, you'll create impact by Building high-quality electrical systems that power Peerless Pump packages trusted by customers worldwide to deliver reliable water solutions.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to wire, fabricate, install, and test electrical systems on packaged assemblies
• Cut, trim, bend, and thread rigid and EMT piping components and pull and terminate wire per documentation
• Inspect completed work and maintain quality documentation to ensure all assemblies meet Grundfos standards
• Operate material handling equipment, cranes, hoists, and a variety of manual and power-driven tools safely and efficiently
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and assist with material requisition for electrical components
• Promote teamwork and uphold safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards in all daily activities

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a hands-on electrical craftsman with strong blueprint-reading skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. 

We would also imagine that you have:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent **required
• 3-5 years of related electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment **much preferred
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications for electrical and piping systems
• Ability to bend/stoop/twist and lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs, 
• Proficiency with manual, power-driven, and pneumatic hand tools, threading machines, and precision measuring instruments

It is a plus if you also:

• Experience with MS Windows and Excel for documentation and reporting
• Familiarity with operating cranes, hoists, and lift trucks
• Ability to read micrometers and calipers or willingness to learn

The salary range for this position is $59,600-$78,970 (paid hourly, non-exempt).  Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile.  The range listed is just one component of Peerless Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.  Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc.  Peerless Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Waller, Texas.
