As our new Internal Sales Engineer, you will be providing accurate technical quotations, expert product guidance, and proactive support to customers across the full sales cycle — helping them find the best Grundfos solutions for their needs. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Customer Service & Internal Sales team, you'll create impact by driving customer satisfaction and commercial growth by translating complex technical requirements into competitive solutions that strengthen lasting customer relationships..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Prepare accurate, timely technical quotations and provide professional product advice to customers via email, phone, and digital channels
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products or alternative solutions from the Grundfos portfolio
- Manage and resolve technical inquiries through structured case management, including prioritization and follow-up
- Register all customer activities, nurture opportunities, and maintain high-quality data in the global CRM system (C4C)
- Collaborate closely with regional Sales teams to convert inquiries into qualified business opportunities
- Contribute to continuous improvement of internal sales processes and customer service operations
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically skilled sales professional with strong customer communication abilities, a problem-solving mindset, and a talent for turning complex technical requirements into clear, compelling solutions. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3-4 years of experience in internal sales, technical sales support, or customer service within a commercial environment
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of pump systems or similar industrial products
- Proficiency in CRM systems and ERP platforms, with strong MS Office skills
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience working with SAP and Salesforce/C4C platforms
- Background in driving process improvements within a Customer Service Unit
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead business processes
