Job Description

What is the job about?

As an Account Manager, you are responsible for providing technical support to customers in the Industrial Solutions sale channel (Industrial Channel Partners and Wholesalers, OEM’s), ensuring specification and correct application of Grundfos products, and effective management of the sales life cycle through use of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool.

You are also responsible for the profitable growth and increase in market share through the maintenance, monitoring, and development of Grundfos products, services, and customer base within the Industrial market sector.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop a designated customer base including preparation plans, budgets and promotional activities
  • Identify and develop new business with the potential to use Grundfos products and services
  • Identify and develop opportunities to implement Value Added Services
  • Achieve agreed marketing targets, sales volumes, and contribution targets
  • Provide technical support to dealers, consultants and end users ensuring specification and correct application of Grundfos products
  • Provide technical assistance and segment support within the local office as required
  • Assist with the preparation of segment-based budgets and plans
  • Participate in market research and preparation of reports as required
  • Implement company and segment-based sales strategy
  • Meet facetime targets to achieve desirable results
  • Conduct product training for a variety of customers
  • Actively adhere to sales processes, including the management of the Customer Relationship Database (CRM)
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate and presented within an acceptable time frame e.g. expenses
  • Maintain and drive Sales Excellence
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested, commensurate with the position

 

Your background:


We imagine that you have: 

  • Min. a Bachelor in business or engineering or relevant mechanical/electrical trade related background combined with at least 3 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role
  • Experience of working in an account manager role preferred
  • Fluent in English is a requirement
  • Frequent travel within the role should be expected
  • Good Hydraulics and electrical understanding
  • Chemical dosing and controls automation knowledge would be an advantage
