Field Service Engineer
Job Description

 

What is the job about?

 

Apply a technical broad and deep knowledge base and customer understanding across functional Service areas and/or units (eg. Field/Onsite or workshop repairs)

 

 

 

Your main responsibilities:

 

  • Disassemble, inspect, trouble shoot, repair and replace part and re-assemble pumps, pump systems and accessories in a field service and/or shop environment.
  • Identify the root cause of mechanical, electrical and systematic failures.
  • Responsible for Complaint Management thru Service App via handheld device/Laptop.
  • Responsible for the Environmental, Health and Safety Program as outlined by the Health and Safety Manager and as required by local regulations.
  • Interfaces with team leader and back office to ensure customers’ expectations are met.
  • Provide advice to customers at pump and system/application level.
  • Carry out risk assessment before each job.
  • Conduct pump hydraulic tests, energy checks.
  • Prepare quotes for out-of-warranty repairs.
  • Assist leaders by identifying and providing solutions to service and warranty concerns.
  • Write Service / FAS reports.
  • Knows and understands department procedures and goals.
  • Working on a variety of projects within a short period of time.
  • Flexible with working hours in order to meet customers’ expectations,
  • Comply with standard operational and working practices.report findings to support corrective action activities

 

 

 

Your Background:

 

  • Engineering Degree or Diploma, with equivalent work experience of 4-5years
  • Mechincal /Electical & Electronics
  • Worked with customer service experiences
  • Knowledge and Experience on Pumps & Pumping system & conversant with their vast appications
