As our new Associate Sales Engineer, CBS - North, West & East India, you will be driving sales of Commercial Building Services (CBS) solutions across North, West & East India, building strong customer relationships and providing technical guidance to support sustainable water technology adoption. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Commercial Building Services (CBS) India team, you'll create impact by Partnering with consultants, contractors, and end-users to deliver energy-efficient pumping solutions that contribute to sustainable water management across one of the world's fastest-growing markets..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for CBS products across the assigned territory in North, West & East India
- Provide technical product selection support and prepare competitive proposals for HVAC, water supply, and pressure boosting applications
- Build and maintain strong relationships with MEP consultants, contractors, OEMs, and key end-users
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for customers and channel partners
- Collaborate with internal teams including application engineering, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategy
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically minded sales professional with a strong foundation in mechanical or electrical engineering, eager to grow in a commercial role within the building services or pumping industry. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline
- 1-3 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development in HVAC, plumbing, or pumping systems
- Strong understanding of commercial building services applications such as water supply, pressure boosting, and HVAC systems
- Willingness to travel extensively across North, West & East India
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience working with MEP consultants and contractors in the Indian building services market
- Familiarity with Grundfos or similar pump product portfolios and selection tools
- Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce
You'll also be available for travelling up to 120 days per year.
