As our new Associate Sales Engineer, Industry, you will be managing and growing sales across the Tokai Area (Aichi, Gifu, and Mie prefectures), developing distributor networks and delivering technical pump solutions to industrial customers. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Industrial Sales, Japan team, you'll create impact by Expanding Grundfos's industrial market presence in the Tokai region by building trusted distributor relationships and delivering tailored pump solutions that keep critical operations running..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Manage and grow sales of industrial pump solutions across the Tokai Area (Aichi, Gifu, and Mie prefectures)
- Identify, onboard, and develop new distributors while maintaining and strengthening existing distributor relationships
- Provide technical consultation to customers on pump applications, including electrical and control system integration
- Lead sales negotiations and close deals with industrial clients and distribution partners
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities in the machining and manufacturing sectors
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically minded sales professional with machining industry experience, strong negotiation skills, and a talent for building lasting distributor partnerships. We would also imagine that you have:
- 3-5 years of experience in the industrial machinery industry
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets
- Bachelor's degree in engineering related field
It is a plus if you also:
- Knowledge of pump applications, electrical systems, and control technologies
- Experience in distributor management and channel development
- English language skills (business level)
