Service Engineer, Flexible location in Taiwan
What is the job about?
We’re seeking a Service Field Engineer to take charge of repair and maintenance work, ensuring customer satisfaction through professional, efficient service. In this role, you’ll be the technical lead—working independently or with ASP & SP (Authorized Service partners / Service Partners) to resolve customer requests—while also managing and executing projects focused on energy optimization and equipment replacement
Your main responsibilities
- Provide technology support to customers and colleagues.
- Execute service tasks with end-to-end optimization in mind.
- Approach service agreements as opportunities to build stronger customer relationships.
- Perform risk assessments for every task.
- Report on all matters related to Safety, Health, and Environment.
- Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, replace parts, and reassemble pumps, pump systems, and accessories in field service.
- Advise customers on system shortcomings, prevent potential problems, and propose effective solutions.
- Support your manager by identifying and resolving service and warranty issues, consulting technical support when needed.
- Prepare clear, complete service reports (warranty claims, working hours, QIP, FAS (Failure Analysis System, etc.) and submit them on time.
- Register identified product quality issues in the system.
- Provide installation support and carry out commissioning tasks.
- Execute agreed maintenance services and SLAs under service agreements.
- Share relevant feedback with stakeholders (sales, service sales, operations), including identified leads.
- Prepare input for quoting out-of-warranty repairs.
- Collect installed base information for tracking and improvement.
- Continue learning and development to strengthen hands-on service capabilities.
- Master the use of service tools and equipment.

Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- Background in electrical or mechanical engineering (technical education).
- At least 5 years of industry experience or in a similar environment.
- Knowledge of pump technology is a plus.
- Good English communication skills.
- PMP certification preferred.
- SAP experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with processes and projects in a service-focused environment.
