As our new Manager, Apps and Automation Team, you will be leading a team of technical specialists who design, deploy, and maintain data applications and automation solutions across Grundfos manufacturing plants worldwide. What you will be doing
As a key part of the AME Digital and Manufacturing team, you'll create impact by Driving measurable operational improvements across our global manufacturing footprint by delivering high-quality data apps that reduce downtime, increase efficiency, and shape the future of manufacturing at Grundfos..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Select, lead, guide, evaluate, and develop a high-performing team of technical specialists, ensuring the right mix of talent to deliver on business objectives
- Set strategic direction for data app technology, innovation, and future manufacturing roadmaps, negotiating and following up on delivery agreements with AME divisional stakeholders
- Drive application quality, reliability, and adoption across plants, measuring impact through uptime, defect rates, and operational improvements
- Manage on-time delivery of data app projects against roadmap milestones while maintaining cost budget within agreed limits
- Manage external vendors, contractors, and technology partners to supplement team capacity and capabilities
- Improve processes and drive change to reach target fulfillment for the function
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a people-focused technical leader with a strong track record of building high-performing teams and delivering digital solutions in complex manufacturing environments. We would also imagine that you have:
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience, including leading teams and processes within Research & Development or digital/manufacturing technology
- Proven experience executing strategies and strategic initiatives within a large, complex manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of data applications, automation technologies, and best practices within R&D or manufacturing digitalization
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience managing external vendors and technology partners
- Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems, industrial IoT, or plant-level data platforms
- Track record of driving measurable adoption and operational impact from deployed digital solutions
