Regional Sales Manager, Stormwater

As our new Regional Sales Manager Water Treatment – Stormwater, you will be managing and growing sales of Newterra's (doing business as: Grundfos Water Treatment USA) water treatment products across the West Coast region, building key relationships, developing territory growth plans, and driving revenue through filtration, stormwater, ion exchange, and reverse osmosis systems. What you will be doing

 

As a key part of the Newterra's (doing business as: Grundfos Water Treatment USA) Water Treatment Americas Sales team, you'll create impact by Driving the adoption of critical water treatment technologies that help industries operate more sustainably while expanding Grundfos's market presence across the Western United States.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Drive sales growth by developing key decision-maker relationships, managing representative networks, and executing territory growth plans to achieve revenue quotas
  • Negotiate and close sales opportunities from lead generation through fully executed purchase orders, maintaining CRM data integrity throughout the process
  • Deliver product training to manufacturer reps on Grundfos products, applications, online tools, and value selling methodology to support network performance
  • Develop and maintain territory growth plans by analyzing the industrial business climate, competition, applications, and key accounts within your region
  • Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams, performing site visits during equipment installations and supporting startup events as needed
  • Forecast, report, and analyze regional sales and margin results while managing budgets for your assigned territory

 

What makes you a great fit

 

Above all, you are a results-driven sales professional with deep water treatment industry knowledge, strong relationship-building skills, and the technical acumen to match the right solutions to complex water and wastewater challenges. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales capacity with 2-5 years of water treatment industry experience
  • Technical knowledge of water/wastewater treatment equipment in municipal and/or industrial applications
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and municipal/industrial water treatment processes

It is a plus if you also:

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong professional network and active LinkedIn presence in the water industry
  • Management experience and bilingual or multilingual communication skills

You'll also be available for travelling up to 100 days per year.

The salary range for this position is $77,000.00 - $116,730.00. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc.  The salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.
