What is the job about?  

We at Grundfos USA are looking for a Senior e-Commerce Marketing Specialist to join our Domestic Building Services (DBS) Americas Marketing team.

As a Senior e-Commerce Marketing Specialist, you will audit, implement, and improve Grundfos’ online presence and customer journey across the e-commerce channel through collaboration with internal/external colleagues and partners.       

You will report to the Head of Marketing, DBS-Americas and work on a hybrid schedule out of our Lenexa, KS office.

 

Your main responsibilities 

  • Assist with forming overall digital marketing strategy.
  • Conduct an initial audit of partner e-commerce platforms and websites to assess branding and product representation and make improvement recommendations. Conduct periodic audits thereafter.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners to understand, plan, and execute to improve our online presence through accurate and improved product (PIM) data, images, videos, branding, descriptions, and pricing.
  • Work with Marketing colleagues and other teams to plan and implement effective campaigns to maximize reach and impact, improve customer experience, streamline processes, and boost traffic, sales, and conversion rates.
  • Investigate and develop potential new e-commerce customers.
  • Develop, monitor, write, and update product content contained on e-commerce websites/portals, leveraging SEO best practices and working with product management, sales, operations, and other relevant teams and agencies.
  • Work closely with Sales colleagues and partners to ensure appropriate inventory levels.
  • Monitor and respond to customer product reviews as needed.
  • Cultivate standards, systems and best practices for content creation, distribution, maintenance, and new product listings.
  • Collaborate with various teams across the organization to investigate inquiries and challenges and provide recommendations for effective solutions.
  • Conduct thorough and ongoing analysis to monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and contribute to the enhancement of product visibility across e-commerce websites/portals.
  • Stay apprised of latest ecommerce trends and technologies, leveraging them to facilitate growth and improve customer experience, sales data, and market trends to inform strategic decisions and improvements.
  • Monitor and regularly report on ecommerce performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions and improvements. Demonstrate expertise in on-site metrics and strategies for promoting meaningful change.

 

 

Your background 

We imagine that you have:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with a marketing, communications, advertising, or business degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Digital skills including marketing automation, analysis of digital opportunities, digital customer journey optimization and deployment on multiple digital channels including social media, nurture campaigns, web experience and other digital touchpoints.
  • Extensive marketing experience, e.g. campaign design.
  • SEO/SEM and digital marketing experience.
  • Ability to use technology and common software and web applications.
  • Experience with marketing relevant platforms and tools, such as email automation and CRM systems.
  • Ability to create, analyze, and comprehend marketplace data and sales analytics for use in forecasting, production, and communication with others.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs with at least an intermediate level of Excel.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work in a team and in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers. 
  • Good organizational and follow-through skills and attention to detail.
