Senior CSSC Front Line Representative

As our new Frontline Industry (IND) Customer Sales Support Center (CSSC) Representative, you will be delivering world-class customer service by providing professional technical and commercial advice through digital, telephone, email, and live chat channels — resolving enquiries efficiently while maximizing sales opportunities within our Industry segment. What you will be doing

 

As a key part of the Industry (IND) Customer Sales Support Center (CSSC) team, you'll create impact by Driving customer satisfaction and sales growth by delivering timely, expert solutions that strengthen Grundfos's position as a trusted partner in the water technology industry. This position may be based on a hybrid schedule in Lenexa, KS or in Apodaca, NL, Mexico.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Provide commercial and technical advice on customer enquiries via email, telephone, live chat, and instant messaging, resolving issues within defined timeframes
  • Create, optimize, and manage CRM tickets (RFI, RFQ, RFO, RFC) for own processing or forwarding to specialized departments
  • Prepare professional offers and quotations based on customer requirements, and track them according to sales guidelines
  • Identify new business opportunities during customer interactions and share leads with nominated colleagues
  • Assist customers with order progression, supply chain issues, pricing, and delivery information within set SLAs
  • Promote Grundfos digital tools (Chat, GPC, MyGrundfos, Extranet) and maintain customer contact data in SAP CRM

 

What makes you a great fit

 

Above all, you are a technically minded customer service professional with strong communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to build trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) OR 3-5 years of technical customer service experience in a similar role
  • Relevant customer service and administrative experience with strong organizational skills and accountability
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and listen carefully to determine customer needs

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience in the pump, water technology, or similar technical industry with fundamental pump product and application knowledge
  • Knowledge of SAP CRM/SD/MM or similar customer service software and databases
  • Understanding of business structure, products, and key market needs to create customer-centric experiences

The salary range for this position is $58,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.

 Compensation and benefits for Mexico-based roles differ from those applicable to US-based positions. Please reach out to the recruiter for more information.
