What is the job about?
Grundfos Industry is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Intern to join our Sales Distribution team and help showcase our product line to drive new sales opportunities.
In this role, you will support the Industry Sales team by assisting with sales operations, market research, customer data analysis, and opportunity development. This internship will provide hands on exposure to industrial sales, distribution channels, and customer engagement while helping Grundfos grow market presence across the U.S. and Canada.
This is a full-time, 3-month paid remote internship from June-August 2026. This position will report to the Area Sales Director and operate on a fully onsite schedule out of our Lenexa, KS office.
Please note that relocation is not available for this position, and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the USA without support.
Your main responsibilities:
- Assist regional and key account managers with sales activities, customer follow-ups and opportunity tracking.
- Conduct market and customer research using internal and external tools to help identify and qualify sales prospects.
- Support territory and account planning activities within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Help prepare sales presentations, reports and various customer-facing materials.
- Maintain and update customer, partner, and opportunity data within Grundfos’ CRM System.
- Assist in monitoring and managing the sale quote pipeline while supporting data analysis related to sales performance, market trends and customer segmentation.
- Work cross functionally with Inside sales, Marketing, and Sales Excellence teams.
Your background:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales, industrial markets, or technical products
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced team
- Ability to work fully onsite out of our Lenexa, KS facility.
