As our new Senior Sales Engineer, you will be driving business development for Grundfos chemical dosing solutions across the UK, identifying new opportunities, executing tactical sales plans, and delivering expert technical advisory to customers and partners. What you will be doing

 

As a key part of the Commercial Sales - Chemical Dosing Solutions team, you'll create impact by Driving revenue growth and market expansion by converting technical expertise into winning customer solutions across industrial and water treatment sectors.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Identify new business opportunities and conduct feasibility studies for Grundfos dosing products and services
  • Execute tactical sales plans aligned with overall strategy, leveraging SAP BW data for analysis and forecasting
  • Provide technical advisory to customers, consultants, dealers, and contractors on dosing solutions, applications, and system design
  • Gather competitive intelligence and market trends, delivering strategic recommendations to business managers
  • Build and sustain productive relationships with distributors, OEM partners, engineering consultants, and key end users
  • Coach junior team members and deliver specialised product training to customers, dealers, and the sales team

 

What makes you a great fit

 

Above all, you are a technically strong commercial professional with deep knowledge of dosing pump technologies, proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles, and the drive to exceed ambitious growth targets. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent, with approximately 5 years of relevant industry sales experience
  • Deep technical understanding of dosing pump technologies and solution-based selling
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in market analysis, competitive positioning, and tender preparation
  • Knowledge of relevant systems, regulations, and processes applicable to industrial and water treatment sales

 

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with SAP BW data analysis and CRM tools for opportunity management
  • Background navigating complex sales cycles with engineering firms, distributors, OEMs, and end users
  • Ability to articulate value propositions around precision, reliability, digital monitoring, and total cost of ownership
